About the Cornucopia:

The Cornucopia is a family run farm that uses organic methods to grow an abundance of vegetable varieties year round.

 

The Person We Seek:

• Loves to be outside
• No experience necessary, we are happy to teach you!
• Excited to learn our methods and about growing vegetables
• Is driven and hard working
• Has tenacity, a desire to finish the job
• Positive attitude and excited to be part of a team
• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license

 

The Details:

• Employment Type:
  • Full time, approximately 45 hours per week during the summer, Monday-Friday, optional flexible hours during the school year
    • Field Crew Team Member: be part of the planting, harvesting, and cultivating of vegetables
      • Also includes helping with the washing, packaging, and market prep as needed
  • Part time, scheduled work times that are planned with employer during the summer (approximately 10-30 hours per week), optional flexible hours during the school year
    • Work could include
      • helping in the pack shed with washing and packaging vegetables
      • assisting the field crew team with planting, cultivating, and harvesting
